    Nobody remembers rocket launchers??? :(

    Also, can you show us some WIP videos??? I'll love to see those animations

    How bout a similar gun to that gatling gun from Preditor! I haven't seen that done in a pack yet. I think one of the team fortress guys have one right?

    Pictures are worth a thousand words. Videos are worth a million. :)

    Models look nice. What are the polygon counts approximately?

    try it yourself webplayer ;) (texture resolution is only a quarter in the webplayer; the player conrtroller is still very basic and i also have to do the gui elements)
    a rocket launcher was allready on the list, a gatling gun is a good idea! and maybe also a flamethrower?
    (wasd to move mouse to fire and aim scroll to change weapon shift to run)

    Looks good - sounds bad. :confused:

    The auditorium reverb doesn't work very well for that environment. Oh - it may be something with your ground because when I fell off the side and got away from the ground the reverb sound went away.

    Nice gun though. There seems to be a little hiccup in the jump animation. Maybe it's the transition, when he lands, the gun goes down below the camera frame then back up again.

    Overall quality gun, textures and shader.

    yes you re right too much reverb for the scene ,thats easily changed.
    the landing was intended but ill adjust it a little so the gun doesnt go out of view to much.

    When do you plan to release?

    I could do with these weapons now!!

    For me no need for sounds just need the models and animations.

    well they are sitting on my hard drive doing nothing :D. i wasnt happy with the hand models. but if you want i can clean up the package and submit the 6 weapons that are finished. just the models, animatons and sounds.
    what do u think is a reasonable asking price?

    Question, can these guns be used without the hand models? We don't use standard FPS hands in my project, all IK driven so the actual player model's hands are used.

    yes sure the arms mesh can be removed, the guns are not skinned but animated by seperate parts so u can add different arms.
    price will be 35 , ill submit it today.
    will also include the third person model i made for these guns. hese rigged and skinned(humanoid skeleton) but not animated.

    I will buy as soon as available.

    Make sure to put a post on the vision punk forum. Lots of people there look for good animated weapons.
    Best place in “General Discussion” and “Showcase” for good exposure.

    Also them sounds are epic.. The re-load sounds are spot on!!

    Ok I really dig the weapons and animations so I'll make a few suggestions:

    A hunting rifle of some sort or carbine without a scope
    A double barreled or pump action shotgun
    A crossbow or some sort of stake gun
    A flamethrower
    A minigun
    A futuristic plasma machinegun type weapon?

    Just a few ideas. Really like the animation quality on these though, and super happy the arms come separate.

    ill add more weapons sure, my ideas where, a rocket launcher, a flamethrower, a melee weapon, minigun, and a pump action shotgun.

    possible to get in future a packet with ww2 weapons? no one have made a cool ww2 pack with animated weapons :)

    that list is interesting yes,
    ill first finish the weapons i said before, and then see what weapons ill add later
    ive also retextured the arms(much better now) and im working on a better 3rd person model. ill also make animations for him.
    once i have 4 new weapons(2 allready done) and finished the new 3rd person model, ill submit the update.

    Do you have the arms rigged?

    I would like to add extra weapons with the same arms but need the same arm/hands.

    I can rig them myself in max but if you have them ready to go then it would save some time.

    yes they are rigged,
    import the fbx and reassign the IK in 3dsmax if u want to animate them

    How I would be able to re-assign the IK? Also any chance I could get a hold of the arms model?

    It's just I got allot to do and I want to keep the same arm. I need to also create grenade throw animations along with open door and pick-up animations.

    i dont own 3ds max but i think u should be able to import the fbx file> and recreate IK for the arms and then assign the ik goal from the fbx as IK target. im gessing this so i dont know if it will work , but i think it should.
    u will have to wait untill its accepted to get the arm model.

    I just converted the sniper into a UFPs weapon, would you to see a video?

    I am going to do all the western pack guns also.

    Lot's more on the way ;p...

    It turned out well, the wield/pick up needs adjustment as it starts from a strange position but I’m solving that one with the UFPs dev’s. I started working on the western pack and also getting good results but it’s a little more complex as the animations are split up. I found I can import adjust the animation and export so I can extend loops where needed.

    I only have one problem using all these weapons and that’s the hand model, it’s not the same for each set. I changed the material on the western arm/hand to be dark like the sniper and it’s not so bad.

    I will re-UV the other arms/hands to use the same texture as the new pack.

    the animations are split to get more control over the reloading, if u check the scripts in the western pack u can see how ive set them up and u should be able to adjust the ufps shooter script to do the same. i dont think changing the uvs will work actually as the hand are completely different in the new pack.

    Yeah the split in the animations is good, but for my use it was to complex. So I just extended the reload loop to replace about 4 in the repeater and 6 in the revolver, regardless of amounts shot. Truth is I’m not to bothered about them weapons any way, I just wanted to see if I could make use of them and I did.

    I did try with the UV’s but looked a little messy so I adjusted the hand/arm of the western to look like the others and it looks fine for now. If a player spends to much time looking at the hands then my game needs improvement ;p

    More guns please :)
