Resolved Animated FBX Export from Blender to Unity - Humanoid Animations - Twisted Bone

    Hi,

    I am trying to do some animations in Blender and export to Unity as FBX.
    The first animation worked fine in Unity.

    Subsequent ones have one bone which is twisted.

    Screenshot 1 shows that the bone looks fine in Blender
    Screenshot 2 shows that the bone is twisted in Unity

    Blend and FBX files are attached at the end.
    Your helps and inputs are much appreciated.

    I searched and found a few links. I followed the below steps as per the links.
    • Select all objects in Blender (Especially the Armature and the Model) and Ctrl+A → All Transforms
    • Export to FBX with the options in Screenshots 3 & 4

    In the past, when i followed the steps (usually multiple times) it resolved the error. But yesterday it stopped working. it never worked in the first attempt. I had to repeat the steps multiple times. Sometimes, i did other work on the blender file between attempts.

    Note: When i import the same FBX into blender it looks fine.
    Note: In screenshot 4, i have also tried setting 'Key all Bones'
    Note: In Unity, i have also tried setting Anim compression to 'off'

    Please let me know if any more information is needed.

    I believe this is resolved.
    I followed the beginning of this video ->


    I am not very well versed, but if i have to summarize, they export NLA instead of actions from Blender and it worked for me.

    Hope this helps someone.
