Animate Physics Changed location?`

In the tutorial below they select animate physics while in the animator component. In my version of Unity version 4.5 there is an animate physics button in the animation component. Was this changed in more recent versions? I can't get his version of the jump button to work as well, could this be related? Thanks for the help in advance.
