androidManifest.xml file not found exeption when building the .apk

    My project worked fine until i implemented the google play services in it, now when i try to build it i get this

    Code (csharp):
    1. Error building Player: FileNotFoundException: Could not find file "E:\Documents\unity\unityProject\Temp\StagingArea\AndroidManifest.xml".
    as i can see the temp recreates itself every time i build the project, and at the time the error occurs an androidmanifest is created with the name "AndroidManifest-main.xml"

    anyone got any idea what this might be?

    unity and sdk versions used=
    unity version: 4.3.4 f1
    SDK tools: 22.6.3
    SDK build-tools: 19
    SDK platform-tools: 19.0.2
    google play services: 17

    Do you have the latest version of Google Play services plugin?

    Please file a bug on this and attach your project. I have not seen this error before but regardless of what plugins you use this should not happen - at east the error message should be something that tells you what went wrong when trying to generate/copy the manifest.

    Ok, i made an app from scratch to try to reproduce the problem, but this other app worked just fine. I'll try to compare file paths and contents of the manifests from both apps. worst case scenario of not finding a fix, ill file a bug ticket.
