Android TV Dev Kit: GamePad Not Connecting

Hello!

I've decided tonight was a great night to plug in the Android TV Dev Kit that I got @ Unite. I plugged it in, was able to use the gamepad to connect to my wifi. At that point the device downloaded an update and restarted.

After the restart, the gamepad doesn't seem to be recognized by the device. I've followed the paring instructions -- putting the gamepad into pairing mode and pressing the button on the device to have it look for new gamepads -- but nothing happens.

The screen seems to switch between the Language Selection and the pulsing "Android" screen. No button on the gamepad affects the screen in any way.

Does anyone know how I might go about fixing this?

I did a hardware reset and that seemed to do the trick. Information on the reset can be found here in the troubleshooting section.
