    Hello folks,

I finally finished my first game and released it. This is a small Android casual game.

I work as a Java backend developer. For this reason, the main goal of the game was to familiarize myself with C# and the Unity/Android/Google Play environment.

The result, after about 24 hours of work, spread over a month, can be viewed in the Google Playstore.

    Main features:
    • 3 different game modes
    • Retro style background music (music was digitally created and the finished signal was routed through an original NES soundchip and recorded again. For the right 8/16 bit feeling.)
    • Share function. Share your highscore with your friends.
The game contains advertising. This is only for getting to know the AdMob system. For this reason, only one banner is displayed in the lower area of the screen. The advertisement can only be clicked on deliberately.

To top it all off, the whole game was developed with "Ubuntu OS". Only open source software was used.

    List of software used:
    • Ubuntu 16.04
    • Unity 2017.01
    • Gimp (Drawing textures/pictures)
    • Ardour (For the music and sounds)
    • MonoDevelop (For programming)

    Conclusion:
It was really funny to work with the unity SDK and it worked perfectly with Ubuntu. I can't wait to start my next project. But this time it's bigger!
