    Hi,
I had exactly the same error I fix it with the next steps:
    1. Download the last JDK
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html
    2. Download the Stand Alone SDK Tools
    http://developer.android.com/sdk/installing/index.html?pkg=tools
    3. Unzip the SDK
    4. Open the terminal go to the folder where are the (android SDK)/tools and then execute the next command ./android
    5. It will open the android manager, clic install and wait that the manager download all the packages and close the manager.
    6. Enter Unity->preferences->External Tools and in the Android SDK Location select the (android SDK)

    I hope this helps.

Yes and I can see in the Video what you are doing wrong, although cannot confirm 100 percent.
So did you do what I said -> Download the Android SDK from the official site.
Extract to the desktop and rename AndroidSDK folder.
Now in Unity options screen goto desktop using left hand nav then select the folder, dont open it.

    PLUS update your Java
