    Hi Everyone,

I'm a 15 year old kid who was successful in developing an android game using unity3d and have it published on Google Play. I was able to study unity3d using the forums and am very thankful to the community.
I kind of want some downloads and suggestions from the pros.
    So, here's the link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ASOFT.BananaRun2

Please consider downloading my game ; even if it wasn't up to a standard. I would love to here feedback!

OK - since your 15 I will try to help you out a little.

    1. You are asking for positive reviews - even if it wasn't up to a standard.
Thats the kind of review your parents and friends will give you. You should really be asking for any feedback - because most of us non-15 year old people ;) will give you really good honest feedback that is useful to improve your product and improve your craft - instead of positive feedback that isn't beneficial to you.
If people tell you your game is great when it isn't - you will get a false sense of quality and you will not improve if people only tell you what you want to hear.
So are you looking for positive feedback or are you looking for brutal honest feedback?

    2. Your game trailer is not good. It shows absolutely zero game play, and doesn't tell the user what the game is about.
It also looks like a video trailer template - swap out the placeholder for the name of the game and slap in a couple graphics and render and you have your trailer. Not good.
Trailers are meant to hype and to show people the game they will eventually play. Some trailers only show cinematic content, but those at least show the theme or mood of the game or deliver some story arc to the game that will be part of the game.
Your trailer - only says please download me, the name of the game and where it is available for free. There is nothing that tells me "why" I would even want to download your game. What the game is about, and why in the middle of the trailer it has a lock graphic and says secure. Is that really one of the top 3 features of your game?

Consider selling your game through your trailer. Tell the users why it's cool. Show them it's cool, and get rid of all the nonsense that isn't directly related to your game.

    thanks,
You are absolutely true about the reviews, I should have honest feedback that would make me do better and not false reviews which aren't beneficial to me. I am not a professional nor am I working as a team, I need guidance which is why I am here.
Is there any way I can record my unity3d gameplay without using screen recording softwares, my video was done from a template, which is the reason you find that lock saying "secure". I am going to work on improving the video,
I'll try my best to show game content.
Once again, thank you very much, this is the kind of feedback that will help me to push myself forward. I learned several things from this, and will definitely work in the right direction.
Do you have any suggestions about my game? What can I do to make it better?

Not sure about this - I believe some people have discussed it on other threads. Use the search function to see if you can find something relevant. Just wondering why you can't use screen recording software? There are several free options out there to check into. Unless your pc build doesn't match your android build, then I would say you might need to find something that records video on the remote build, or on an android device.

Sorry to say - I didn't play your game because I was acting like a uninformed random person. And when I saw your trailer I had no compulsion to play it. I did check out the images, and one thing stood out was the incongruity of all the assets, especially the 3D monkey on Game Over screen. He just looked out of place especially when the monkey in the game looks to be 2D.
Anyway - get a better trailer up promoting your game and I'll see if it entices me into checking it out.

    Keep at it.
