    Greetings everyone!
I would like to share the 2nd Unity game I've made under Nigiri Games, called Disaster Office.

In this game we play as Jim, an office guy with an apparently easy job.
But every day a new challenge comes at this office!

As you can see in this trailer:

You can compete with your friends through Google Play Services and earn Achievements!

    *** VERSION 1.4 ***
    - Introducing the Boss & the Coworker. One will throw you things if you don't work and the other will offer you a cup of coffee. Guess who is who.
    - New Achievements
    - Minor graphics and gameplay fixes

Give it a try! It's FREE!

    Looks pretty good.
Only suggestion is to dump the video template and create a unique trailer for your game. The template (template like) trailer diminishes the appeal of the game
    - personal opinion.
    Nice 2D graphics.

    Thanks for the comments!
I'll consider the trailer thing as well, I have no video editing experience so...

Giving it a try now. :)

Played it, and I gotta say it's a pretty good time waster.

The first time it started up the level it didn't give me the yellow arrows on either side of the screen, and when I died and hit 'Retry' it gave me them. Don't know what's causing this, but the game's pretty fun!

You mean the arrows in the desk and drawers? Strange, I'll take a look on that.
    Glad you liked it!

Don't know what they are, but they're basically a yellow box with arrows inside of them; I guess the instructions.

Ohh, yes! They're the "touch" zones for player movement.

Could have been a really fun game but ruined by a ridiculously hard control scheme. The huge left and right control "pads" cover half the screen. The "action area" at the bottom is just confusing. In a game that requires reflexes and timing you need precise, intuitive controls. Simple, small left and right arrows and a small action button (at the bottom of the screen) would work well imo.

Don't get me wrong... this game is good. Nice graphics and concept. I wanted to enjoy it. But... deleted it in frustration over the control scheme.

    Would you consider revamping it?

Hmm. I actually really like the controls and don't have any problem with them; I'm not trying to change your opinion, though.

    Thanks for the comment!
Actually, in early stages of development, we try with a small action button on the bottom of the screen, but that made it difficult for testers to see the character sometimes, that's why we decided to put an action "zone" so you can touch wherever the action zone button is.
As for the left and right controls, covering half the screen made easier to control the player (when other people tested it).
We didn't want to fall in the classic "pads in the bottom" control scheme, because we don't like it very much being honest.
Glad you like the art at least! :)

I found that on level 2 (Tuesday) the combination of the left and right pads on top and jump at the bottom seemed awkward. Especially on my phone. I also would recommend using the immersion mode as I often found myself accidentally hitting the back button on my phone.

I do like the game. I actually joined this forum so I could comment on this. I've been a gamer since the 1980's and have played many thousands of different games. I'm sort of a game "pro". Just saying.

I just have the feeling I'm not the only one with issues with the controls. At least consider an optional control scheme. Maybe using the accelerometer for movement and only an action button.

Ok, we'll take that in consideration for future updates.
    Thanks!
