    Hello Unity,

can anyone tell me how on earth can I optimize the Resources/unity_builtin_extra stuff?

For me it takes up almost 15 MB that is 9.1% of my entire project.

Used Assets and files from the Resources folder, sorted by uncompressed size:
    14.6 mb 9.1% Resources/unity_builtin_extra

How can I reduce this junk?

    thanks for any help

I could solve it. it's because of the stupid default Shaders.

like Standard, Standard(Roughness), Nature etc .

If you use any of them in one of your game objects or in a prefab, or in a gameobject that is located in your resource folder your file size will get bigger.

The more different shaders you use the bigger your game size.
The most difficult part is though you cannot delete Standard Shader. You have to go carefully go through your entire Project and deselect it them or change them all into one Shader.
