I know it’s a Hail Mary, but I don’t suppose Unity would consider hiring him?

 

Maybe he decided tu turn down Unity offer. Who knows? Seems he has better alternatives.

Maybe something in line, like when Notch also mentioned, he was tired of his minecraft popularity and followed responsibility. He took an opportunity to sell it and get released from that.

Btw. I love improved Unity console performance of 2020, for long strings.

I never followed him, but I know he has tons of good resources, for someone who wants to learn things and is new to delving.

Personally I liked his vid about shader graph and grass. Gives some good thoughts and guides. And I am sure, such vid will be still valid 1 to 2 years ahead, for latest Unity version.

If someone really wants to copy dots in dots, just need to use compatible Unity versions and his materials will be still functional.
