Hello everybody! Does Unity Analytics works with WebGL builds? What about Google Analytics and other analytics services?
Hi @smokoko, Analytics works with WebGL on Unity version 5.2 and above. You can view our supported platforms here, http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/platforms-supported.353829/
Using Unity Analytics with Unity 5.3.0f4 WebGL, it's building and running ok, but there seems to be no data in my analytics. The strange thing is that I added events that appears in the list of events but don't show any data. I don't understand why... Here's a screenshot of my analytics Data Explorer:
Hi @monark, Are you still experiencing this issue? Would you please open a support ticket here, https://analytics.cloud.unity3d.com/support It will give me a little bit more information about your project so I can look into this a little further. Hi @madgreg, This looks like your event may have gotten caught somewhere along the road to your dashboard. Would you mind opening a support ticket with your appid here, https://analytics.cloud.unity3d.com/support It will help me keep track of this issue while I am hunting down the cause of this issue.
For anyone else with this issue, it appears to be related to having multiple platforms writing to the same analytics project. I have WebGL, Webplayer, IOS, Android and Desktop all sending data to the same project.
@Stream Would you be able to describe the problem that you are having (there are multiple issues in this thread). Also, what version of Unity are you using?
Digging up an old thread here - does anyone have info on how to correct this? I feel this could be the reason I'm getting no data show up when I use the game on the webGL version even though it does on the desktop version
Yes, I know the issue on WebGL. After every Analytics.CustomEvents call, you also need to call Analytics.FlushEvents https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/Analytics.Analytics.FlushEvents.html
