Analytic Segments for WSA

    Hi,

    I am having some issue setting up segments for Windows Store apps, I am wanting to differentiate between iOS, Android and Windows installs, but when setting up the rules for the UWP segment the data is always 0, even after 2 weeks of waiting.

    I've attached a screenshot of the rules I have setup for the segment, and I have also created a separate one just for "the player is on windows" and still get nothing tracked.
    I should mention that the installs from Windows UWP are getting registered, but its just the segment rules that are not detecting them.

    Just wondering if I am setting up something wrong or if this is a bug I should report?

    Hey @Andrew Kite,

    I believe your segment is not filling because it looks like you have 'ALL' selected instead of 'ANY'. The current configuration of this particular segment would only fill with a user who is using all three of the platforms listed as rules. Can you please try creating a new segment with the same rules but with 'ANY' selected and let me know what the result is?

    Thanks for the reply :)

    I completely read those buttons wrong, but I still seem to be having some issues. After creating a new segment exactly as your image shows, and waiting about 6 hours I still have 0 users showing. The data says it was last updated an hour ago.
    I guess I could try setting a segment which shows the installs that are not iOS or Android.

    Do these segments filter the data on existing stats that have been tracked, or on upcoming installs?
    Either way I will give it a day to see if there are any changes!

    Stats are showing up now, just had to give it a day. Thanks for the help @mpinol!
