    Hi

I have a Windows Desktop Unity3d Application. The application uses a 3rd party library that communicates over http with a web server.

Whenever I call a method that tries to connect to the web server, I get this error:

"An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions."

It seems like a permissions issue. Any idea on how to resolve this?

    Regards
    John

Do you have a local firewall, antivirus, or VPN running?
Check that they are not blocking your connections.

I have a firewall but it does not block outgoing http requests. There's no VPN.
The same code / APi work fine from a non-Unity C# WinForms application from the same computer.

Start unity with "Run As Administrator"
