Hey guys, I'm not very active here, but I've been working on an action rpg called Amaranthine Story. It's now on indiegogo to try and retrieve the backing needed to complete my demo of the game entitled - The Island of Teirist - 6 Days.

    First Title Image

This is the main location of the game - The Island of Teirist after importing it into Unity and applying the texture. It's 55,500 meters long made possible through Sectr Geocontrol 2 and World Machine.

This is shortly after I began to add trees, grass, plants, etc.

This is after I decided that I was pretty much finished with the terrain and began working in Ork to connect my Main Menu to the scene. The scene runs absloutly beautifully (even though the demo looks a little like there may be frame rate issues).

This is the main character now in the scene. I'm hoping to retexture him so that he will look a little more along the quality lines of the Final Fantasy games.

Here is my Indiegogo video speaking more about the game's story with some gameplay footage. I'm looking for team members for animations, VFX, Texturing, and Models.

Any feedback would be awesome! Please be constructive and not discouraging. I'm one person putting this entire thing together. Spreading the word about the campaign would be greatly appreciated!

Looks very cool! The art is very impressive alone, but the concept is pretty intriguing. I am worried you may be in over your head though. I don't know your background in terms of creating games, but creating something that is this huge in scale is a pretty daunting task to undertake. There are a lot of underlying systems that would come into play throughout the development of a game of this style. Just a concern of mine, but at any rate, I wish you luck in the development of the game and I hope that you are able to complete your vision.

Also hope to see you around the community more as well!

Thank you! It is a huge task to undertake, but I've been planning for it for 2 years and I am confident in my ability to pull this game off. I will be a lot more active here in the community. There is plenty to learn and honestly I really need other friends in the industry.

Awesome. A big part of why you accomplished so much is most likely because you've stayed away from these forums. I know what you mean about making connections with other developers though. Same reason I came here. Anyway best of luck with hour project. I think you're gonna pull it off.

This looks promising, but I think it's in too early a stage of development for crowd funding.

You have a very accomplished character artist, which puts it ahead of 99% of the projects you see around here.
However, there's absolutely no evidence that you have a programmer capable of putting together a combat sytem... I need to be totally sure you guys have what it takes to actually make the game before I would even consider backing it.

Basically at the moment it seems more like an art showcase, which is a good start!
