    Hi everyone,
I want to create a night vision effect that runs on the Quest 2. I know that post processing is a no-go most of the time, but wanted to know if somebody knew how to make it work nonetheless. Maybe fake it somehow?

To achieve the effect I would need:
    - color correction + overexposure
    - something like grain/noise/scanlines
    - (slight camera distortion, if it works without inducing nausea)

If anyone had ideas on how to start with something like this (build in or URP) or share resources about alternatives I would greatly appreciate it :) Thanks a lot

Post processing isn't necessarily bad, it's the way some work that can kill performance or break.
Some stuff is hard/impossible to get into stereoscopic display/vr.
Other stuff like bloom is heavy on the mobile tiled GPU.
2022.2 has a full screen node in shader graph. That could work.

Otherwise just test out what will work. There are many post processing assets on the asset store as well (personally got beautify to work in VR)

    Thanks for your reply!
Yeah I'll take a look into some assets that's a very good idea, and beautify looks awesome!
and the full screen node is also very interesting, thanks : )
