So what WebGL game engine would you recommend for a Unity Developer?

I know Unity 5 will have an export to WebGL option, but I think that's going to be like the export to flash option, an option you have to pay for.

Also Unity 5 is not due to appear until later this year and WebGL is moving forward regardless.

My ideal WebGL game development system would be well Unity, but it would also be free and here now.

So what are my options and what would you recommend?

2D or 3D? Also do you like or hate javascript? That greatly influences the choice. I am more on the "hate" side so I have been using ones based on Haxe which compiles to many targets, including js/html5.

3D, I'm flexible on the javascript as long as the engines features are good.

Not to spark another inexplicable engine war, but UE4 also sports WebGL export, though its implementation is not complete yet.

Ah ok, yeah sorry I've only played with the 2D engines such as HaxeFlixel/HaxePunk. Hate to say it on here but 3agle is probably right you're not going to beat UE4 most likely from a feature perspective in 3D, and it would be most similar to Unity editorwise.

Although this looks nice, never played with it though: https://playcanvas.com/

Double vote for Construct 2. I've seen some really nicely done fake 3d made with it. I fooled around with it long enough to be dangerous and also enough to be frustrated by the action limits. That's when I made the full switch to Unity Free.
