    Hi,

texture conversion in Linear for cookies and halos are over-brighten. I have several examples.
I have created a super smooth halo that work fine in gamma, but in linear they doesn't look in a fine quality. (linear conversion internally?)

I have opened a bug report in the past for cookies also, have the same issues in linear and affecting light sources bad as well. 748484

But it's not prioritized for a release, but for a quality release 5.4 it should not run into issues.
Is appropriate it worse to post a bug for this issue?
