    Hello!

Of many games that I have played on my PC only 3 have never worked: Fall Guys, Escape From Tarkov, and VR Chat. I noticed that these are all Unity games. They are the only Unity games I have. By "never worked", I mean that I can startup the game, but as soon as I try to join a game, the game crashes and gives this error: FallGuys_client - Unity 2019.3.14f1_2b330bf6d2d8

    So far, I have:
    -Updated Windows
    -Updated graphics driver
-Reverted to older version of graphics driver
    -Updated all other drivers
-Uninstalled then reinstalled graphics driver with DDU
-Uninstalled then reinstalled all 3 games
    -Monitored GPU temp/power consumption
-Tried using different power options (Battery Saver, High Performance)
-Ran WhoCrashed.exe and found 4 .dmp files. The dates of these files align with the crashes I've experienced:
    DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE Caused by: ntkrnlmp.exe
    VIDEO_TDR_ERROR Caused by: atikmpah.sys
    VIDEO_TDR_ERROR Caused by: atikmpah.sys
    KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION Caused by: ntoskrnl.exe

    My PC Specs:
    Windows 10 64-bit
    AMD Ryzen 5 3600
    2x8GB RAM
    B450M AM4 MoBo
    AMD RX 5700 XT (Gigabyte)
    1TB SSD

I have been trying to find a fix for this issue that not many other people seem to have. I am not a programmer/developer but figure this forum would be a good place to check and see if anyone has any ideas. I would like to provide crash logs/dump files but I don't know if those are created for these games. If they are, some help on locating the file path for those would be appreciated.

    Thanks for the help,

    Brian

This forum is for Unity developers, not a support forum for games made with Unity. You should look for support from the developers of those specific games.

Though I'd suspect a hardware issue from your description. Memory, PSU, CPU overheat, MB, and video card are all possibilities.

    Are these crash-to-desktops or blue-screens?

    Hi Joe,

Thank you for the advice, I'll head over to the support forums for those specific games.

Here is some generic, game-independent things you can try:
    * Run FurMark or something similar to stress-test your video card. The names of the crash suggest something to do with the video card and/or drivers
    * Try launching the game with the -force-opengl argument.
    * Try using the integrated graphics (if possible) for testing purposes.

Thanks for the suggestions! FurMark results showed no issues, I wasn't able to start the game when I used -force-opengl argument. I am not able to use integrated graphics.
