Question alembic mesh, access to mesh / vertex position?

    when importing .fbx assets I have scripted access to vertex positions, vertex colors, UVs, etc. via the meshFilter component.
    Can I somehow also do this with alembic files? When I add my animated-mesh.abc to the scene it only has a AlembicStreamPlayer component attached...

    Hi @MischmeisterM, is `Import Meshes` checked in the import settings?
    Our plugin generates all the necessary MeshFilters under the AlembicStreamPlayer hierarchy to display (animated) meshes. You should be able to access all the mesh data like you would do with FBX files, through the MeshFilters.

    aaah it's nested in the hierarchy of the imported file - makes sense now. thx for the reply :)
