    I created an Action inside a map and then after creating many others decided I no longer needed it so I deleted it. Now I keep getting the following error after rebuilding the input actions which removed it from the json

    Cannot find action 'Swing/InitiateSwing[/XInputControllerWindows/buttonNorth]' with ID '7f56f8db-8968-4e8f-aa16-d64a32a7c743' in 'InputActions(UnityEngine.InputSystem.InputActionAsset)
    UnityEngine.InputSystem.PlayerInput:OnEnable() (at Library/PackageCache/com.unity.inputsystem@1.0.0/InputSystem/Plugins/PlayerInput/PlayerInput.cs:1564)

    Any idea what I need to do to remove this error Many thanks

    Hi, would you mind filing a ticket with the Unity bug reporter? ("Help >> Report a bug..." in the editor's main menu)

    PlayerInput really shouldn't be spamming that error.

    The setup should otherwise still work, though. While the error is logged, PlayerInput will go and set up whatever it *can* find. Also, selecting the GameObject with the PlayerInput component and editing its event setup and saving it *should* get rid of the error.

    This bug is still present in 2020.3.8 with Input System 1.0.2 (using XR).

    Fixed as of 1.1-pre.6. 1.1 final is making its way through the pipes and hopefully hitting the public server any day now.

    Hello, has this been fixed yet? I'm getting the same error. I don't want to have to remake my input system.

    Still experiencing this bug.
    Still on 1.0.2.
    Is 1.1 ever going to be released?

    1.3 has been out for a bit and 1.4 is in the making.
