Does anyone have any advice for remembering scripts? Also I see a lot of courses to learn on unity and its sort of overwhelming on where to start.

Decide what kind of games you want to make, and then focus on those tutorials which will lead to that goal.

I've mainly used youtube to look for unity tutorials, there are many available and most are free.

I just tried a search on it for 'unity beginner turn based rpg' and it came up with a lot of results. I noticed the first one is by brackeys I've done some of his tutorials before and would recommend them.

Create a cheat sheet that you can look at when you need something you've already learned but haven't memorized.

That is a very good idea. I actually do that.
