Bad news gang. For some reason AdMob has disabled our account. No email, no message - ads just suddenly stopped working and we can no longer login. Seems a strange way to encourage Android development...

 

Could it be that your not allowed to advertise other studios apps/games via your own ad's perhaps?

 

Finally figured out Custom Ads in mobclix so I went ahead and added the ads here to Dog Pile and Vertigo Towers.

Our install base isn't quite as large (understatement). But hope it makes some of you a little cake.

 

Good news! Our AdMob account has been re-enabled, so ads are back up and running. Faith in Google restored.

 

You guys are great, thanx so much!

Yup - still active! (apologies for my delayed response, we've just been flat out getting the new game 'Diversion' in the App Store). We've filled up our house ad quota for Crazy Snowboard, so what I'll do is cycle some of the older ones off and add these new ones. I'll let you know when they are live!

Great news! AdMob has updated their in-house ad setup, so now we can have unlimited ads (instead of the 15 ad cap). In some other related news we are about to release a free Android ad-supported version of our new game Diversion (thanks for grabbing the iPhone version RobotsVsWizards!) so we are hoping to generate a bunch more ads for everyone soon. We are using the Android AdMob plugin from Prime31 and I can highly recommend it ( http://prime31.com/unity/ ) - it will save you hours of messing around.

We are back in action, so make sure to post your ads here and getting in on the action.

Also, a word of warning if you are using the new AdMob House Ad system. Instead of filling blank requests with in-house ads it actually schedules house ads based on the target impressions you enter when creating the campaign. The good news for you guys is that we have been running 90% house ads for the last couple days!
