I've been trying to reach you (through reddit and email) with the question how you're handling networking. E.g. are you using client sided prediction and how do you handle vehicle collisions?

I see that in the meanwhile you've deleted your reddit post and replied to a review in the store.

    Looking forward to your response

    Hello hipsss,

It seems your email did not arrive in my mailbox.

Regarding your question about whether client sided predictions are used:

For production purposes I used client sided predictions, but removed them from the final components. But I can add these code structures back on request.

Regarding your question about how vehicle collisions are handled:

The vehicle collisions are handled with OnCollisionEnter(). After a collision of the vehicle with an object, the vehicle damage is determined by the vehicle velocity at the time of the collision. When a projectile collides with a vehicle, the vehicle suffers the damage specified as the damage value in the projectile component. If a vehicle is in the immediate vicinity of the detonation radius of an explosive projectile, the vehicle suffers the damage resulting from its proximity.

If you have any more questions, please contact me via email. I will be happy to answer any question. Email: Contact@RedicionStudio.com
