Ok I'm just now starting to learn how to make a game and I downloaded the advance fantasy pack and i've watched a few videos about it on youtube and i was wondering if anybody could give me some ideas on what a few things i should do. Like right now i'm focused on making the starting area which i don't have much and it don't look as good as i know it can lol. But I was also wanting a lvling feature in the game along with skills and what not. Would be a boring game if i just slashed at the enemy the whole time haha. But anyways are there any tips anybody could give me to help me though this. I probably should of started on something a bit easier to do but if i figure this out then I'll be ahead of the game (or at least i would think so lol). Any comments would help. Thank you.

    OH!

Is there a way to fix my char running sideways while looking like he's trying to run forward... That is very annoying along with the never ending jump. When I jump i can jump again while i'm in the air and just keep going.. It's kind of silly lol.

This is one of the biggest things you will need to learn even if you are not the main programer. If your going to be writing all the scripts then you should decide what language to start off with.

Javascript is much easier to learn and work with IMO. Less code to do the same stuff as a c# class.

C# is more complicated but has more stuff you can do inside Unity like events. You just have to choose which one better fits your game and which one you connect better with.

You are jumping in deeper than you realize. Making a game is more complicated than downloading a pack and tweaking some settings. As was mentioned, learning some scripting would be nice. Start with the big "Learn" section at the top of the page. As you said - you probably should start with something easier.
