I have an app that I am about to launch with Ads. I read somewhere about someone that was banned from Unity ads for building an app where the same people could generate to many ads hit by just pressing a button. This generated a lot of ads income for the author, which was not compliant.

However, I am thinking in the lines of the following:

    1) User starts the app for the first time = watch a 30 sec ads video to lock up application
    2) Every 60 or 80th (have not decided) time the user use the app he/she needs to watch a 30 sec video ad
    3) Possibility to IAP so all ads disappear

My question is if this is OK to do?

As long as you abide by the Terms of Service and your implementation does not violate our Invalid Activity policy, the decision on how to implement ads in your game is up to you.

We do have a robust fraud detection systems in place to determine if an app is generating artificial traffic, but if you aren't doing anything like that, then you will probably be fine.

As long as you make sure to keep test mode enabled during development and only disable it for release, you should be fine.
