    Hey there,
I'm really new to Unity but need it for a study within my master thesis. Therefore I've built a VR-Scene in which a Car approaches and lets the pedestrian (i.e. the subject) cross the street. I had planned to let the test person also walk in the real world to cross the street, since there is about 6 meters of space. However, in VR you only move about 0.5 meters although you cover 6 meters in real. I Use a HTC Vive and Unity 2020
Therefore my question: Is it possible to adjust the speed in VR, so that if you actually cover 6 meters in real world, you cover the same (or even more) distance in VR?
For the study it is quite important that the subjects walk in real and unfortunately I didn't find any information for possible settings for this. I would be grateful for any help! Thank you so much :)

The movement in VR and in the real world should be the same. If there was that much of a discrepancy, it would result in motion sickness among other problems.

So, something is wrong with your setup (or your hardware).
