Question Adjusting extremely low range of "near" bounces?

    Apologies if this is a common question, I just haven't been able to figure this out myself and need to know pretty quickly. I'm using 2021.3.7f1 with HDRP + Raytraced GI, and I notice bounces from direct light sources only seem visible or are a lot brighter when I'm very close to a surface. Is there any way to increase that range? It's really bad. Here's a video of the issue:



    If this isn't fixable in this Unity version but is in a later one, what should I upgrade to?
