Addressables to Prefab - missing referrences!

    Hi All,

    Remotely I am downloading addressables into StreamingAssets folder and also adding into Unity Scene, after that those gameobjects (i.e, addressables) converting to prefabs, but here missing meshes/scripts etc...
    All these happened through the Unity Editor scripting itself.

    Any one, help on this issue please.

    StreamingAssets is a special folder that isn't processed in the same way by the Editor, for example scripts and DLL files aren't processed. Could that be the issue?

    Partially yes GroZZleR, after loaded addressables in to scene, those objects(addressable assets) needs to make it as prefabs, able to make prefabs also but issue is here like mesh missing/attched script missing in the prefabs..
    Hope got my issue!

    Well that's what I'm saying: the StreamingAssets folder is special and copied verbatim without any processing from the Editor in to your Build, so that's why things are "missing".

    So do I need to change addressables locations from streaming to some other folder, then it works?

    Yes, addressables assets need to be built into their addressables groups (which you run through the addressables menu). These then get built with your game when you do a build.

    No luck here, I have one more folder inside Assets downloaded but still reference got missing. Please help me on that issue.
