I switched to 2021.2.2f1 version of Unity and upgraded Addressables from 1.18.16 to 1.19.11. I use a system where all location scenes (as opposed to game manager scenes that are not addressable) in my game are marked as addressables, and I load them when needed. All the assets that are placed on the scenes are built into addressables system, too. It worked fine on the older version, but when I upgraded, all the materials on the scene that had alpha–cut transparency, are getting built without transparency. I checked if it's a problem with addressables, and it looks like it — I placed a material with transparency on non–addressable scene, and the transparency works fine. It also works fine when I use «Use Asset Database» and «Simulate Groups» options of a playmode script.

I'd try to downgrade the system, but on 2021.2 it's apparently not possible to downgrade your packages, so I don't know what to do.

Explicitly adding the materials with shader with enabled alpha cut transparency to the addressables actually solves this problem, and you only need to add a material with the same shader, and it will work for every single material with different settings.
I think I need to report this, when I will have enough time to recreate this bug on a blank project
