Hi, using HDRP the effect I would like to achieve is a vfxgraph with additive quad particles surrounding a refractive sphere. In this scenario only the particles behind the sphere should be affected by the refraction. The closest I have gotten is to turn Zwrite on, Ztest Always, and set BeforeRefraction on the vfxgraph. Zwrite should normally be off with additive blending but then all particles are refracted regardless of depth. Using "ztest always" does help but it introduces some other artifacts. Is this technically possible? Thoughts appreciated, thank you very much!
