adding more morph /blend shapes to a skinned mesh

    Hi

    i have a skinned mesh with blend/morph shapes added- ideally we want to import more blend shapes to the skinned mesh without having to reimport the fbx- is this possible in standard unity or could anyone recommend an uptodate asset from store

    i have had a look around and cant seem to find this- wonder if im missing something blindingly obvious

    I believe if you use the 3D (.max .blend etc) instead of fbx the file will update without having to re-import. In addition - doesn't saving the updated fbx as the same file name also update the fbx in Unity without having to re-import?

    The other option is to use a package to generate morphs within Unity. There are to my knowledge 2 pretty good packages in the asset store that provide a good process for generating morphs in Unity - if that is an alternate approach you are open to.

    Im looking for same solution but exporting out of Maya?
