I have for example a character with 3 animation clips that are all triggering correctly.

I need to add Events (Audio, Particles) to the other Animator Clips but I can't even seem to access the clips in the Animate window where you would normal add an Event.

I can only access the default clip.

How does one access the other clips?

I think maybe I am not being clear somehow?

I hope that this is able to make my problem clear :)

How can I access the other clips animations so I can work with adding events?

As can be seen in the video the idle animation is the only thing I have access to.

There does not seem to be anything I can click to get the animation of the other 2 animator clips to show in the animate window.

Am I missing something so simple that no one will tell me?

Intuition tells me that I have to select the clips in the animator window to get the animate window to show them but my intuition has not given me the correct answer.

I can see no button in the animate window for selecting something other then what it already presents.

Is my delemma so mysterious that I have hit an area to where there is no answer.

Or am I so stupid that people don't want to point out what is so obvious and they cringe just seeing my stupidity?

Your animations are read-only, so I assume they come from an FBX file (or some other format).

Don't add events to read-only clips through the Animation Window. It works/used to work in past versions, but as soon as you reimport the FBX file, you'll lose them all.

The (sadly inconvenient but) correct way to add events to read-only clips is to add them in the Animation Importer.
The UI is really clunky (we're working on making it better), but this way, your events will be preserved if you reimport your FBX file
