I have search and search for tutorials on how to add detail to your models. Would like to learn how to do this. Most of the models i make is plain and dull. I attached some pictures i found online, to give a better understanding as to what i am referring to. What program are they using to do this Technic. Programs i have are, maya, 3ds max and blender. If anyone knows how to do this please explain how or if there is a video that i have not yet crossed upon. $Screen_Crasher_Dalle01.jpg $Screen_Crasher_objects.jpg $Screen_Crasher_pillar.jpg

I'm not sure which part of the process you're unclear on. Do you need to learn how to UV-map and texture models...?

So you need to learn how to make bump maps and/or normal maps?

Is that all they did was, added a bump map to the model?

create highpoly model -> create low poly model -> bake normal map. Thats pretty much all. And you can do that in every 3d model application that I know of. The rest is experiance and art skills

you don't need to have Zbrush. Essentially make your texture then follow the last half of the tutorial

Just sit back relax and enjoy!

You can do this stuff from scratch, in Photoshop or Gimp or other if you want to.

    Enjoy!
