Feedback Add option to subscribe to publisher on the asset store

There are publishers on the asset store of whom I bought a lot of assets and which (almost) never disappoint. I would really like to have the option to subscribe to these publishers, so that I'll get a notification e-mail when they release a new product. It would also be a very good fit for the new release discounts.

I've missed this feature for a few years tbh and am kinda surprised that it wasn't implemented years ago, is there a reason for that?

Anyway, I really like Unity and am very thankful for the opportunities it gives me, keep up the good work!

 

An automated weekly/monthly mailing of top new assets in the store (based on metrics like sales/revenue or user activity, ratings or combination thereof) would also be welcome.

 

This is also interesting, that said it also has the potential of being very 'spamy' and the user activity you mentioned would be important to avoid being presented with many assets of types that are not relevant to the user.

 

Agree. Subscribing to categories might also be viable.

I keep missing useful tools and when I find them I notice they‘ve been around for years. Visual assets otoh I just search for when the need arises, and the Unity store is only one place out of several.

If I may ask: What other places do you use? I think the only other marketplace I've used is the one from Blender

 

Instead of sending everyone emails, it could also just be on the "notifications" screen on the asset store itself.

 

Or just put the search for the list on RSS and allow people to subscribe to it.

 

aaand better search for INVOICE numbers, cuz now you get 10 invoice numbers per page, and its just numbers , you can't search via asset name/publisher etc
