Add a package registry through the editor

Hi,

I'm starting with the package manager and trying to see if it can be useful to us. We developped several packages over the years that we host on an internal gitlab in which we use CI to create unitypackages.
This requires people to go to our gitlab and find the packages they need.

Could it be possible to have a registry that "redirects" to all our gitlab projects ?
I think that adding a registry requires manually editing the packages.json file. Could it be possible to add an entry in the packager manager window in the form of "add => package registry => type url/credentials => validate"
Or even better, have this kind of menu in Unity's global settings so that the registry is available for all project we create ?
