Currently, the name attribute inside scopedRegistries seems to be useless. Can Unity add a one-to-one correspondence between Scoped Registry's name and Package Manager's cagetory.

    Hey there!

We are already in the progress of re-working on how items within scopedRegistries will be shown (although this will look slightly different as to how you've suggested)

We are slowing rolling it out in 2020.2, 2020.1, 2018.4 and then lastly 2019.4.

Thanks for your reply. And there's a related question.

I have talk with Unity China about scoped registries, and I got a message that Unity is planning to disable the ability to add scoped registries. If users want to add a private registry, they must apply a license from Unity. And this has already been done in Unity China. Is it true?
