Question [Adaptive Performance] No Active Loader was found.

    Hi guys,
    I need to setup Adaptive Performance for my mobile game.
    I got this error message from the package,
    what does that mean?
    [Adaptive Performance] No Active Loader was found. Make sure to select your loader in the Adaptive Performance Settings for this platform.

    I'm facing this issue aswell, were you able to figure it out?

    nope
    the thing is. Because AP is available just for Samsung devices I postponed it to a near feature.

    I am also facing this issue......

    Could you please send in a bug report with a sample (e.g. a AP sample) to reproduce (with device info and version etc.) as it's not clear what the issue is or which devices are included (os version etc).

    considering this thing is easy to reproduce using the info I just gave plus the fact that the bug reports take ages till they get processed i would say it makes no sense to file a bug report for this.

    Hi,

    I think I figured out the solution if anybody needs it:

    In the Adaptive Performance settings, make sure to ONLY ENABLE the settings for Android. I had the checkbox for "Initialize Adaptive Performance on Startup" checked in both the android tab as well as the Windows, Mac, Linux tab, so while it found the Android Provider, I never specified a provider for Windows, which it was missing and thus still giving out the error message.

    Did You make sure, that you installed Adaptive Performance threw the Package Manager?

    Go to Window > Package Manager , select "In Project" on top-left , choose Adaptive Performance and remove it.

    Same problem - cannot remove it because it doesn't appear in the package manager "In Project" list. But it causes this error. Anything???

    If you guys don't want the adaptive performance package there is a way to remove it by going in the package manager, then in the Unity registry you type "mobile" and in that package there is the adaptive performance package where you can uninstall it.

    I had this problem for nearly a week and solved it.
    I am programming with windows and testing with android device .
    I downloaded both adaptive performance for android and windows in my project and that solved me the problem

    If you use the 2D mobile template, but don't want to use the adaptive performance package, you might find that its not visibile under the Packages: In Project > Packages - Unity, but under Features > 2D it is still included, so you should remove it from there!

    The answer was already given. If youre using Android then you need to un-check the other options, windows, linux, ios. Where it says Initiate on startup. You only need to have android checked.

    I am still facing the issue with [Adaptive Performance] No Active Loader was found. Make sure to select your loader in the Adaptive Performance Settings for this platform. Tried all above solutions, but din't solve the problem.

    @tmkirankumar we fixed messaging in 5.0.1 for that issue. What version are you on? Are you using Adaptive Performance and it's giving you the message on a supported platform or on a non supported platform.

    Hello, I followed all BrunoHilt's recommendations, but when I try to check the "Android Provider" box, I get this error:
    Adaptive Performance Provider Management error. Failure reason: Error Message: Unable to add package [com.unity.adaptiveperformance.google.android]:
    Cannot find a version of package [com.unity.adaptiveperformance.google.android] compatible with this Unity version (2022.3.4f1)..
    Error installing package com.unity.adaptiveperformance.google.android..
    Check if there are any other errors in the console and make sure they are corrected before trying again.
    UnityEditor.EditorApplication:Internal_CallUpdateFunctions () ;

    @tmkirankumar yes, you have to open the Adaptive Performance Settings and enabled the provider on the platform you try to build to (aka the platform which is currently active) so if it's iOS for example, it will not work. What platform are you on?

    Don't forget to check if your android device is even supported for your by the provider.
