Achieving to good realistic image looks ...

    can someone informed me how can i achieved to good realistic image looks
    like as of these images:





    i tried several methods on postprocessing , lut, several grading methods, different options of recorder but can't get nice image looks and quality or video like as shown images above :\

    is that an magic behind making of these works?? i don't know :[

    Normal maps applied to 3d objects, can help make realistic details like that.
    They also add details to objects like rocks, old broken tree trunks and even
    the rough bumpy earth ground floor, seen in the pics, if even those objects
    are low poly objects.

    If you take a look at the greyish rock wall in the top pic, you'll notice that it has
    cracks and organic creaks in it. Normal maps can help add those cracks and
    creak details, to the rock mesh and make it look realistic.

    Another thing, is clever usage of lighting, or learning to light a scene properly.
    But that takes a while to learn effectively.

    And painting details on the textures, eg. ambient occlusion, shadow details
    on the textures, can also help add to the realism of the objects, in the scene.
    And help make your enviroment look more real.
