Today I got an e-mail saying: "You recently took steps to reset the password for your Unity ID." I didn't request a password change nor I forgot it, plus although the e-mail comes from "accounts@unity3d.com" and the link appears to be valid for the request, in the link itself says "locale=en_US" which is not in my geographic area, thus I don't know if someone actually got into my account (useless because I'm learning Unity and I don't have any project going on), or was trying to get into it. Anyway take your security measures.

This also happened to me a few hours ago, should I be worried? Is it an attempt to hack my account or something I should be aware of? I spent a lot of money on my assets, I hope everything's safe.

Well, i have been playing MMOs for so much time they told me something precious:

Sometimes someone who has an username almost equal to yours, or an e-mail may actually type your e-mail or account, and then ask for a password reset after getting frustrated by not being able to log in.

Alternatively, you can always change your password. It happens to me everytime, there are A LOT of people who are trying to literally invade my pc all the time. You shouldn't be worried about someone trying to access your account because they literally can't do anything harmful unless they download a project of yours if you are using collab, but you should be worried about someone actually having access to your e-mail!
