No one said unity can't look good, just at what cost.

That just looks like pro with a lot of Post Processing, real time shadows, and superb modelling and amount of detail put into it.

So far most awesome graphic i have seen in Unity so far. Islands and water are done very very good with nice ambient. However ANYTHING else is not look that good. Actually it is pure example that it isnt all about artist and it proves that it is very much about engine display.
All other scenes and models (turntables) are very good modeled and textured, even shaders are good, but they just dont look alive. Everything looks very plastic. Put that in UDK and you will get depth to those assets.

Great stuff but it shows what people have been saying all along: power is nothing without the content to go with it.

Looks good. For some reason the style reminds me a bit of Dali, though the subject is far too normal for him. It has almost a painted look though, which I think is really cool....

Speaking of hardware, Would it be a smart idea to try sell a decent computer component somewhere on these forums? :3 haha

    Lovely work, very inspiring.

    Quite true.

Yeah, the flickering shadows are a pain, perhaps they'll be improved in 3.4?

Where can you see the flickering shadows?

I see flickering shadows in the water, but that seems natural to me with the reflections of the waves. The shadows on the figure and the rocks/grass seem quite solid.

The flickering shadows in Pro--the ones representing some kind of 'stripes' moving across the landscape or level geometry--are quite annoying. That's my quirk with the shadowing system.

Thankfully, lightmapping takes care of this problem--most of the time. Terrains still occasionally suffer from this problem, however.

To return to the actual topic: I think your art style (I'm speaking especially about the early halloween game) is amazing. I would love to see the halloween game developed a little bit further cause you seem to have a great talent in transferring your mind properly into the 3rd dimension (a game) without making it stiff and not convincing.
