Well I've been searching for 3D modelers for my game .. freelancers etc.. now 100% of them ( Even the best of the best who have really great assests , use a cracked version of Zbrush and 3Dmaxs.. I cannot judge them.. license is really expensive I think the companies of those softwares are being greedy- but that's just my personal opinion.

Now on the bottom line.., can I use those assets .. like can someone know whether my assets from a cracked version of Zbrush or not?

Manufacturers who make cars always want so much for them. Which is why I always steal a car when I need to drive anywhere. I think the companies of those cars are being greedy - but that's just my personal opinion.

Computers are expensive. Electricity is expensive. Running a business is expensive. Anyone who's presenting themselves as a freelance modeller, but who doesn't have a license for their tools is not making much money from their business, so possibly isn't actually any good. Or they are doing it on the side. You can of course fund them if you think their assets are suitable for your game. You might want to write a note on your game saying you've used cracked software, and to invite anyone who wants to play your game to crack it and avoid spending money on it. Those game makers are being greedy, right?

Whether it's legal or not to do so, a freelancer using cracked software raises so many red flags about them.
    1) Not very committed to their work.
    2) Not good enough at their work to afford it.
    3) Dishonest/selfish/untrustworthy.
    4) Willing to steal other's work.
    5) Unconcerned about legal repercussions to their methods.
    Etc.

Well, for me it gives a sign that he is not really "serious" about what they're doing!
    But that's just my opinion!

But speaking more in technically, what it can cause that is :

-You can't showcase technologies you used(except if you're ok with showing to hundreds/thousands of people you are a serious studio with cracked softwares)!

-You can't obviously in any kind of way say something "officialy or formaly"!

-You don't really have from both the company and the community on issues you can come face to face!

-You're not actually that, how to say this,"good" to other artists,At least most of the great artist i know they are 1000% against piracy!

-And of course,if you don't really pay for the work of some other people, why those people should pay you to play your game in the very end?

Speaking shortly,if you're so passionated about this, then it's ok,passionated peopel are always welcome to do what they feel right! After all when you release i'm sure you could pay for couple of licenses,it's not that big deal!
    Kickstarter is cool as well!

There is zero excuse for using cracked software except for the 'I want it I want it, crying babies. One word,Blender. Go download it and stop encouraging the illegal use of software that takes well earned money out of peoples pockets.
Software pirates and user are.... fill in as many swear words as you like.

While I'm at it. There is way too much tolerance in this thread already. There should be zero tolerance from users and Mods get rid of these arseholes

no, you can not use them
if you cant afford the license, use free software
if you dont want to learn the free software then earn the money to buy the license. its that easy.

I agree with all of them!
You know,i have gotten some licenses for free by the companies themselves!Just because i was honest,i didn't have the money to afford them, especially since i'm 16 and i didn't have time with high school to afford them, and they gave away some licenses to me!

They will always support both "Good" & "Talented" people, but being bad and selfish will not be appreciated ever,no matter how talented you are!

And that actually brings to my mind,a programmer i was working with,he was so good,so talented, but he was stealling 3d models from the projects,so no matter how talented he was,he got fired!

Respect other's people work, and they won't ignore that!

But Blender is not really good for games nowadays you cant get to good results with it ..

Anyway let me upgrade my question please, we if we the " cracked " versions until we fund money to get a license is that good? like after it import all the models to the real version of Zbrush..

    Is that possible?

Blender is still very good for games. Whats your comment based on?

I think this thread should be locked since the questions are going bad direction. You are part of the crime there when you accept stuff made with illegal versions of tools and know it. Nearly the same as accepting stolen goods.

Is it ok to steal a car to be pizza delivery guy and then later buy the car when and IF you manage earn enough?

Blender is great for games. Any what do you mean "nowadays?" It's better for games now than it ever was. It has everything you need, and gives pro tools a fair run for their money.
Box modeling, sculpting, texturing, retopologing, UV mapping, exporting... There's no excuse at all to be pirating software.
You make it sound like you're the "freelancer" using pirated software, contrary to the original post.

No. And if you continue asking about using illegal software I'll assume you're using cracked versions of Unity, and shut down your Unity account. Hopefully you have the message clear now, and me shutting down this thread will help you understand that this community doesn't support piracy.
