AAA sound effects packs... requests?

What do you guys want / need most? Inquiring minds want to know

 

We're in development of a Sci-Fi Mech sidescroller got any sound packs with sci-fi and mech theme?

 

gun sounds, injury sounds for a FPS, Background music.. anything good is always needed.. ;Thanks for asking

 

Close-miked recordings of exotic animals, in acoustically dead spaces.

 

@Jessy - ooooooh, good one... i dont keep many exotic animals around but sounds like a juicy challenge hit me up about that PM

 

Machinery sounds

 

That sounds like porn.

 

Kliks, beeps, , electricity, little menuish sounds
blasts, lasers, doors, foorsteps, water drops
weather, ambient humms

 

ok i am getting a sense there is simply a lack of good sound effects in the store in general - on it! feel free to PM me with particulars too

Impossible. How can you lit a fire in space?

 

I miss good quality "loops"

I've literaly spent days looking for a rain sound that wasn't obviously looping for instance and that iddn't sound like a tv static audio.

So ambient sounds look is one for instance. Engine sound loops too (cars, airplanes, motorcycles) and so on.

Just to add more to the mix above, the sun is not on fire. It may seem like it, but it is actually a ball of plasma. plasma != fire.

And back on topic. I also think a good rain would be a really nice one.

P.s. Fire can burn in space if their is oxygen there at the time. So maybe the cat was soaked in liquid oxygen before it was set on fire

juicy one i loved working on Silent Hill but it started to affect me after a few months of murder scenes lol hit me up about that

 

The high pitched sound of a capacitor charging up (think of the sound you hear when turning on the flash of a camera or night vision goggles) would be nice. Can't find one anywhere.

I don't know.. so many sounds so many missing

However.. I have noticed in my FPS that whilst I do have, maybee not great but exist, lots of sounds for pain, death, moan, etc etc.. they are all male.. almost impossible to find for female, and really just changing the pitch doesn't cut it.. so female sounds and actually some good male ones as well for an FPS environment.

PS while were at it.. simi9lar sounds for a plant model, though what a plant moan or die sounds like could be an interesting challenge.. and yeah.. don't ask why a plant

I think some really decent vehicle sounds cleverly designed with scripts to accompany will sell like hot cakes.

idling engine loop
slow speed loop
medium speed loop
high speed loop
growling rev (no loop)
skidding loop
skid no loop
gear change
various crashing sounds
car door slam
a scraping scratchy loop

You can find use for a proper car sound pack of actually useful-sounds that are prepared for one shots and loops, for almost any kind of game. A pack like that, would sell hard.

 

I'd be very interested in a collection of simple human expressions. For instance, an intake of breath for gasp, shock, surprise, etc. dozens of 'Hmmmph' type sounds for irritation, anger, that sort of thing. These are like 0.5-1.5 sec tiny, tiny recordings. If you come up with something like that, send me a message.

Great stuff guys, just got clear of a pretty big project and the first set of sounds are coming... Don't hesitate to poke me (PM) with more specific requests while I have all audio hard-drives connected ;-)

The first release will be a Foley pack of footwork and bodyfalls for every surface!
