    Hi!

I'd like to share with you my first 2-d project, even if it's not complete yet :)

I'm not a developer, I'm a speech&language therapist who's trying new and more interactive strategies to enhance my patient's reading skills.

I've developed a (very simple) form of tetris in which you must create a 4-letters minimum (Italian - sorry about that!) word to clear the line. You can also use the up arrow to switch the order of the letters. I'm working to enlarge the grid and to increase the number of letters. If you find the magic word you clear the entire screen!

    Hope you'll like it! :) http://www.trainingcognitivo.it/tetris/

    Future improvements:
    - More letters
    - Single letters falling
    - 8-letters grid
    - Related images for more common words
    - Better graphics :)

It's cool and I somehow made two italian words.

By the way, I think Tetris name is trademarked.

Thank you, I'll ask my little patients to find a cool name for the game :)

Yes the name is trademarked. I tried the game and found it pretty nice, I couldn't figure out the controls well, though, and the language totally lose me. But you are heading down lawsuit ave. if you try to sell this (I'm NOT a lawyer but I advise you precede with extreme caution if you make this game commercial). It's way too similar to Tetris and I've heard of some other developers getting slammed for making anything remotely similar to it. If this is for personal use not to be sold then I think you won't have to worry about any of that.
