    no because there are all in 3d maxs files and i cant put them into unity

    From what i hear you should be able to.
    Have you tried?
    I export my models from 3dsmax as .max files into unity.
    I don't think there is any issues with importing them into unity even if you dont have 3ds on your system.

    i can only find export package and it wont let me export my models

    Actually I dont think he can drag and drop unless 3ds max is installed, I tried with blender it wont work. On the other hand I believe 3ds max has a student learning edition which would enable him to handle the models within 3ds max and then export them into a file such as obj or fbx which he can utilize in his other modeling program.
