So, I'm a programmer. I've spent the last few months doing hardcore coding, and to relax I've decided to do some artwork (for the first time...ever). I have vague hopes of making it into a game this month, but I'll see how that goes. Anyway, just wanted some comments on what I've made and how I can improve it, really. I'd quite like to get into 2D art - it's kinda relaxing.

I'm going for a toony style (although that should be apparent...)

I've lurked for a while, so I'm not entirely new here.

Does anyone have any suggestions for an Illustrator-->Unity pipeline? What do you use? I don't really want to get Photoshop.

Sounds good...I've been planning on getting a tablet. Although I can get CS5 Master Suite for $500, (student discount), so I may do that eventually. I'm currently just using a trial illustrator, and exporting to .psd files for use in Unity.
