Is this a good book for learning C#? I know you may not have read it but from what amazon provides about it and the reviews, do you guys think it would be good for a total beginner to programming who has the hopes of one day creating large scale games?

    Here is the link:
    http://www.amazon.com/The-Players-Guide-2nd-Edition/dp/0985580127/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8

It seems like the best option from what I've seen but I'm hoping to get the opinion of people who know the language or are experienced programmers. Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to help me out with this decision! Your all the best ^_^
