I found your work today after searching hard for a selection of potential avatars for my planning-stage ARPG. In short, I love your work. The characters are attractive, gritty, detailed, and - from what I've seen - well animated.

A question, as I'm a programmer (only) and also new to Unity.

Can these models be used, realistically, for a mobile/tablet game? Or are they simply too detailed?

My passion is for MMO games such as Lord of the Rings Online, and I'm looking to bring some of the features I like the best to the mobile platform in a world of my own creation. Your character models just fit exactly with the image I had in my imagination.

Now if you only had a spartan warrior, spear and shield combination, as well... :)

    Thank you FutueAI!

I don't think I have clear answer on question. This is matter of game optimization. I never made something especially for MMO game and criteria changes every time.

Maybe my old characters less then 10K triangles can be used in MMO game which will be released in 3 yeas. Mobile devices became stronger every year. But of course you need to make clculations depending on everithing you game will include: characters, props, locations, effects, textures....

Personally I don't thing that my new characters may be used as is. You may purchase them as base for you hero characters prototypes. Then get 3D artist into your team which will optimize them and build more armors and clothes.
In such approach you will save time.

But to be honest, you may find another characters or character systems here on Unity Store which technically will fit you better.

I'd recommend sticking with the models you want (necturus') and just picking up a tool to optimize the models, I will do it myself. Just get something like Simple LOD to create a fitting quality model: https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/25366
