Bug 50 second wait when clicking in the deep profiler

    repro should give the team a whiff of what it's like to wait for the profiler and maybe we'll get that ... profiling the profiler

    When it's these big huge pauses I sometimes wonder if it is some OS thing where a process with a lock on something died so it has to do the full minute timeout before sigkilling it and relaunching it.

    I suppose whatever the process was could obviously still be some part of Unity... Unity waiting on Unity.

    I think it's the profiler calculating the total oof a few million calls. like here.

    it's super slow also when I expand and collapse calls.

    (13M calls... I really should BSP this thing uh)

    Yeah, there's only so much you can do about that. Perhaps you should profile something that's smaller, so that you strike a nice balance between "too small to see how it scales" and "too big to deal with"
