I got this message on loading projects started with 5.5.0b4 and 0b1:

    Capture.JPG

I didn't get it on creating new projects. I am the administrator of my computer; Windows 7 sp1.

What do you have in Editor.log?
    Path c:/Users/<username>/AppData/Local/Unity/Editor/Editor.log

Can you try to delete the Unity_v5.x.ulf file and re-activate the license with your license key again?

    Thanks.

Just a guess, but you may not want to post your license file on the forums.

Well, thank you for asking but it's far too late to see what's in the Editor.log. I have installed 5.5.0b7 and got the same error message but it was days ago. Next time I'll get it, I'll publish the log and delete the Unity_v5.x.ulf file. :)

Edit: Apparently, it's a "false positive"; the said file has been updated although the message says otherwise.

The version I have is dated 16/10/2016 which is the date I got the most recent message.

    Well, maybe. Deleted. :)
